Kingston Jamaica Stake to House Open House Featuring Church Programmes, Practices and Beliefs

The Kingston Jamaica Stake of the Church of Jesus of Christ of Latter Days Saints will host a stake-wide open house on the 25 April 2015 from 1p.m. to 5.p.m.  As part of the Stake’s initiative to reach out to community members and leaders on principles of religious freedom and tolerance, the Stake will host tours of the Latter-Day Saint houses of worship. The tours will be hosted at the Constant Spring/ Boulevard; Spanish Town; Portmore and Linstead Meeting Houses and will showcase the programmes, teachings, tenets and organization of the Church. 

The Open house provides an opportunity for members of the public and for community leaders to receive direct knowledge about the Church in an atmosphere of knowledge-sharing and learning. The open house seeks to widen the channels of communication and cooperation between the Church and our communities on issues affecting the community towards greater solidarity on issues of freedom, family and faith.
